The College of Southern Maryland is taking away any excuses for not exercising with the introduction of new membership and Punch Pass options at the colleges Leonardtown Wellness and Aquatics Center.
In addition to fitness only, aquatics only and combined fitness and aquatics memberships for individuals and families, the new Combined Punch Pass allows the purchaser use of the fitness center and/or pool at a time that fits the persons schedule, said CSM Wellness, Fitness and Recreation (WFR) Assistant Director Judith Ferrara.
For $50, a combined punch pass allows users to visit the pool or fitness center 10 times; for $100, users will have 20 visits. The punch pass system gives users the flexibility to determine each day, each week, each month the level and type of activity that fits their schedules.
The GroupEx Passport allows students to mix and match from among a select group of fitness classes so they can sample a variety of classes without committing to weeks of participation. This is the perfect solution for students who have busy schedules, said Ferrara. Moms and dads wont have to choose between catching their childs sports game and working out.
The GroupEx Passport is valid through May 13 and includes cardio kickboxing, Zumba, Hatha yoga, Total Body Power Pump, 30-Minute Express Success and Fit over 40.
Fitness Center hours of operation through May 8 are Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. Pool hours of operation through May 8 for open swim are Monday through Friday 6 to 8 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m.; Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8 to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 1-5 p.m. The pool is open for lap swim Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 4 p.m.
