CSM Robotics Challenge Senior Division Results

Middle, High School Students Compete in 2012 CSM Robotics Challenge

The College of Southern Maryland’s Robotics Challenge Senior Division brought teams from Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties as well as from Manassas and Baltimore. Tournament champions were from Chesapeake High School (Baltimore), Piccowaxen Middle School and the Dr. James A. Forrest Career and Technology Center. The Excellence Award, the highest award presented during the tournament, was presented to Osbourn Park High School (Manassas) Team 2068-H.

The event received sponsorship from BAE Systems and Naval Surface Weapons Center Indian Head Division.

From the first competition in 2006 with just two high school teams, CSM’s robotics championships have provided exposure to engineering, computer programming and teamwork skills to thousands of students not only in Southern Maryland, but across the state and across the ocean.

The CSM Southern Maryland Robotics Challenge Junior Division for elementary and middle school students is on April 14 at the La Plata Campus.
