Community Supports CSM Students Through CSM Foundation’s Splash For Scholarships, May 7

Business and community organizations are joining the fun by coming on board to support the College of Southern Maryland Foundation's second annual Splash for Scholarships, a poolside celebration May 7 at Leonardtown Campus Wellness and Aquatics Center to raise funds for student scholarships. The event will include music and dancing, seashore-inspired cuisine, poolside games, a silent auction and awards for the best attire of male and female based on the theme. Attire is tropical casual.

“This event is one of my favorites, as it is such a fun event, and it funds needed scholarships for our credit and non-credit workforce students. The support from our community as sponsors and through silent auction items is just overwhelming. We are so excited to host this event for a second year and are pleased to be working with our generous community partners who are as committed as we are in supporting our students”, said CSM President Dr. Brad Gottfried.

Auction items include destination vacations to Clearwater, Florida, Williamsburg, Virginia and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a chauffeured wine tasting and tour, unique jewelry, a sunset cruise, tickets to a Baltimore Orioles game as well as opportunities for the new Fitbit Blaze Smart Fitness Watch, a custom-designed CSM corn hole set and one-of-a-kind silver Swarovski necklace.

All proceeds will benefit CSM student scholarships through the CSM Foundation.

Sponsorships, ranging from $7,500 to $500, remain available and based on the level include named scholarship opportunities, VIP parking and event tickets. Joining the CSM Foundation as sponsors are:
