What would you do if you found a magical lamp? Would you use it for good or would you try to control the world? Set in Arabia, “Abracadabra Aladdin” is the story of Aladdin, a young man of mischief who desires to marry the beautiful Princess Jasmine if only he can stop the evil Jammal from ruining his plans.

“Abracadabra Aladdin” was written by playwright Tim Kelly, who published more than 300 plays before his sudden death in 1998. With a musical score and lyrics by Pam Hughes, “Abracadabra Aladdin” is a joyous musical adventure filled with magical wonders for the whole family.

CSM’s cast includes Alex DeLeon as Jammal, a greedy man who will do anything to get his hands on the magic lamp; Emily Davis as Halima, Jammal’s evil sister; Carlton Silvestro as the fearless Aladdin; Catie Taylor as Princess Jasmine; Tessa Silvestro as her mother the Queen Sultana; and Andy Donahue as the powerful Sultan.

Performances are Jan. 26, 27, Feb. 2 and 3 at 8 p.m., and Jan. 27, 28, Feb. 3 and 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $13 for students/seniors, and $15 for adults.
