Join CSM as it celebrates the opening of the Piscataway Connections Exhibit in recognition of Native American Heritage Month. The ceremony will feature Piscataway Conoy Tribal Dancers and Drum. Mel Proctor will review Piscataway Conoy history from the time of contact with Europeans to today. Brenda Harley will introduce attendees to various factors involved in Piscataway Conoy Indian history. Refreshments will be served. CSM Winter Productions Auditions. 6-8 p.m. Nov. 14-15. College of Southern Maryland, La Plata Campus, Fine Arts (FA) Building, Theater, 8730 Mitchell Road, La Plata. CSM will hold auditions for those 8 and older for its winter productions, including Children's Theatre's “A Wrinkle in Time” and “Knuffle Bunny,” Cause Theatre's “The Library/The Amish Project” and Main Stage Theatre's “Blood Relations.” Performers should prepare a one-minute monologue and prepare 16 bars of a song with music for the accompanist. Rick Benjamin, former state poet of Rhode Island, will read his work.
